This isn't a terrible premise, but man, this feels so unnecessary.

What I don't get is how they could know those dinos have something useful hidden in their DNA without already having a sample of that DNA with which to work?

I dont think theres anywhere else this franchise can go besides full on Godzilla

It feel like they should just be honest with themselves and move ahead with Jurassic World: Dinosaurs In Space!

It's an inevitable episode for B movie schlock series that have been dragged out too far and run out of ideas. And it's not any stupider than what they're spitting out now. Might even be funny and/or visually interesting.
