Man, I still haven't seen the third Jurassic World movie and now there's a fourth one coming out?! Cool to see Scar Jo in it. Looks like it's about a group of people trying to steal dino eggs / embryos / DNA. (Was watching with the sound and subtitles off.)

My understanding with Scar Jo is that it's a dream come true. As for the plot:

Five years after the events of Jurassic World Dominion, the planet’s ecology has proven largely inhospitable to dinosaurs. Those remaining exist in isolated equatorial environments with climates resembling the one in which they once thrived. The three most colossal creatures across land, sea and air within that tropical biosphere hold, in their DNA, the key to a drug that will bring miraculous life-saving benefits to humankind.

There is always Factory Farming: Jurassic Edition. Or any storyline that focuses on comparing and contrasting how the dinosaurs are treated versus "regular" animals.

"Put the genie back in the bottle, everyone! (At least until we have them mutate and take over the world in a future movie.)"

Those remaining exist in isolated equatorial environments with climates resembling the one in which they once thrived.
These movies have been pretty bad scientifically from the jump, but this is extremely dumb. Dinosaurs thrived in all sorts of climates. The excellent Apple TV+/BBC (?) series Walking with Dinosaurs goes into this in detail.

The three most colossal creatures across land, sea and air within that tropical biosphere hold, in their DNA, the key to a drug that will bring miraculous life-saving benefits to humankind.
This isn't a terrible premise, but man, this feels so unnecessary.
