Just got in Dungeon #116

Well, I hope that I get this issue. I subbed at Gen Con and bought the last issue at Games Plus and hope that I don't have to buy this one too.

Could you give a little more info? Is he basically a Solar with a template? Does he switch back and forth between angelic and demonic forms during the battle? What effect does this have?

Thanks.
He can switch at will as a free action. One form can fly. He uses different attacks with each form, damage in one form does not carry over to other form, and both forms must be slain. He has 525 hps in each form.

Bets for what's in the top 30? I reckon these are in with a chance:

Ravenloft
Dead Gods
White Plume Mountain
Dragons Crown
Tegel Manor

You may note a post above I asked about Dragon's Crown. Thalmin said it wasn't, and then refused to talk about the subject of the list any more.

Dungeon #116 arrived at the store yesterday. Contents of this issue:

Special Feature
The 30 Greatest Adventures of All Time judged by a panel consisting of: Keith Baker, Wolfgang Baur, Eric L. Boyd, Andy Collins, Monte Cook, Bruce R. Cordell, Ed Greenwood, Gary Holian, Alan Kohler, Mike Mearls, Christopher Perkins, Clark Peterson, Chris Pramas, Jean Rabe, John Rateliff, and Bill Slavicsek. 29 titles from TSR/WotC, plus one adventure from Judges Guild. In addition, there is a list of 10 exceptional adventures from Dungeon Magazine. The list of 30 includes cover art, author, artist, year published, synopsis, and defining moment of each module.[/COLOR]

now that's cool as heck! :)

it's not a bad thing, but i would rather see actual adventure/gm content then useless fluff like this. it's one thing to put a few extra pages in a book for this type of stuff, but when it takes up game material space, that just makes the book that less worth the 7.00 cash.

not trying to be negitive or anti nostalgia, but i would much have more adventure and gm insights/tools in "my adventure and gm insights/tools magazine", ya know?

You don't think it can help DMs by pointing them towards "the best" of the modules that have been published? The article highlights what is best about the module. Knowing what makes them good might help DMs design better adventures.
BTW, 5 modules are covered on each page, until you get to the top 5. Numbers 5 through 2 each get a half page (1/4 page for the cover, 1/4 page for the write-up. Number 1 gets a full page, plus a full-page new illustration.

Joe, at paizo.com, I can sign in, give 'em my info (name, address, etc), and tell how many issues I have left on my subscription, see what issue was the last one mailed, and what issue is next to be mailed (and when). I think you should be able to tell which is your first subscription issue.
