Just got in Dungeon #116

You may note a post above I asked about Dragon's Crown. Thalmin said it wasn't, and then refused to talk about the subject of the list any more.
Ah, my fault. Well, I hope they end up with at least one of the Dark Sun modules on the list, or we may need new experts! ;)

Sorry, but I don't think Paizo would want the acual list repeated here.

I wouldn't be suprised if they wanted the list posted. I certainly would be amazed if they didn't expect it to be put online. After all, this is the sort of article you write because you expect to create discussion about the list and create a buzz about your magazine.

Bets for what's in the top 30? I reckon these are in with a chance:

Ravenloft
Dead Gods
White Plume Mountain
Dragons Crown
Tegel Manor

Dragons Crown and Tegel Manor aren't on the list.

Man, Tomb of Martek had better make the top 10 on that list or I'm going to get feral on those guys

So what's the deal with a guy that can freely switch back and forth from demon to angel? How'd that come to pass? I can grasp the fallen angel concept, but this sounds like more of a yo-yo angel.

Actually, the background for Adimarchus is pretty neat. I'll use spoiler text to describe a little about him.

The term "angelic form" seems to be a bit of a misnomer, because both his angelic form and demonic form are chaotic evil. He is a demon prince of madness, and his angelic form is really a sort of physical manifestion of a formerly suppressed desire for redemption. But his odd duel nature gives him an intersting ability called "shroud alignment."

Overall, I am pleased with the abilities and backstory of Adimarchus!

Heh, almost makes me want to shout
"Arioch, Arioch, Arioch!"

I'm impressed; with the exception of I6 Raveloft, I have played or bought all these modules.. In my opinions, Return to the Tomb of Horrors (boxed set) is the best. I'm surprised to find The Gates of Firestorm Peak; it was published just some years ago to be played with Skills & Powers/Combat & tactics rules, but it's one of best Dungeon Crawl that I have see.

Maybe in a few years we'll have a "Best 30 of d20" as opposed to D&D. I think the Judges Guild book is the only one there that's not an official TSR book. Ah well, poor old Role Aids and the host of other Heartbreaker games will get their time in the sun one day.
