I'm sure it would, but, then again, they did already publish it in a book. If trademark infringement could occur, wouldn't it have happened already?
I dunno. Let me send a letter to DC to look into the matter.

After all, didn't WotC themselves have concern over the use of their trademark "Drawmij" in one of Fast Forward Games products that led to their destruction (of the questionable product and later their company)?

The paragon path and epic destiny thing - PrC's are gone completely. You pick up your paragon path at 11th level, and your epic destiny at 21st level. You get those abilities as you level up in addition to your main class stuff, not instead of. Some look like old PrCs, and weapon master, prince of knaves and cavalier mentioned. There are currently 12 PPs and "fewer" EDs. The EDs give big benefits and are things like being the right hand man to a god, undying warrior or calling dragons with a wave of your hand.

So does this mean that the post June "splatbooks" won't have a third of their content devoted to describing 10 to 20 different paragon paths epic destinies?

What's the point of touting the loss of PrC's when they're just going to get replaced by something that's very similar, but with a different name?

Or am I misreading the marketing on this? Have PrC's been officially declared unfun or not?

more poorly implemented than unfun. Pay now, gain later isn't a good model for balanced advancement. Not that anyone made any attempt to balance the PrCs anyway...

Oh, is that why people seem to tend to dislike prestige classes? I suppose that makes sense. The first couple of levels of multi-classing would kind of suck. But then, that's why i like to start my games at 6th level. I find levels 1-5 to be incredibly dull, both as a player and a DM.
