Just when you thought it was over

When Lucas has achieved room temperature and is six feet underground. Then, I'll believe he won't be making anymore SW films. Until such a time...

Why this attitude towards Lucas? I'm not singling you out, MM, just geniunely curious.

If you look back, its not like the Prequels were much of a surprise. Hell, there was an interview with Lucas back in '83 or so that mentioned he would probably go back and do the first 3 parts of the story after a short break. Actually, then he was saying he'd probably only make the 3rd one, as the first two wouldn't be as interesting.

Now, we've had Lucas say time and time again that he's done with Star Wars, and glad he can finally move onto other things...even if he'll always be seen as "Mr. Star Wars".

 How true that turned out to be. I almost wish he had continued with that plan; it might have helped to keep the Star Wars mystique untarnished.

I get the feeling he ended up deciding you need all three to get the most of it...and, to a point, he was right. But where exactly that point is could be devated for years on end. ;)

88 years? Didn't the Jedi Council remark on the Sith having been gone for some 1,000 years?

Blinded by the dark side you are, hmm.

Sideous had a master, and that master an apprentice once was, many years going back, hmm

(although since it was all in secret I concur that it doesn't leap out as being a great story, ergo any prequel shouldn't deal with the Sith, but instead with jedi peacekeepers. You could have a whole lot of fun stories of jedi peacekeepers at work)

Cheers

All I'm saying is, you never know. He may get the itch again and decide to do more.
