Justice League Unlimited 7/02 spoilers?

Twice, I messed up the recording for this show. So I won't get to see it until it hits reruns.

Can I get some spoilers on what happened? I've watched all the JLU since the start, and I'd hate to miss some story arcs.

That episode was "Flashpoint." Takyris wrote a good summary of it here, but he calls it "Sequel to 'Question Authority.'" It's the first one listed.

Much thanks. I would have loved to have seen that episode. :(

I think I've got the episode queued up for next week, assuming Cartoon Network doesn't change the schedule again.

I thought it was a good episode, although not quite as strong as Question Authority. In terms of plot, writing and voice-acting, I'd put at the same level as last week, but something in the tempo or pacing seemed off. I agree it is mostly a set-up episode.

And as a supplement to Takyris's summary, my impression is that Luthor didn't just hack in after Waller called but that 1) he had infiltrated the JL computer some time ago (presumably in the Task Force X time frame), and 2) already had the targeting program running, and was waiting for Waller to call (correctly anticipating that she would have moved the Cadmus operation after the security breach) before initiating the fusion-beam.

Finally, fun dialog paraphrased from memory during a JL debate on whether to take out Cadmus:
Green Arrow: "Batman brought me in to keep you guys honest."
Superman: "Do I look like Batman?"
Flash: "Yeah, you kind of do. Especially when you get all scowly like that."

Related question, how many JLU seasons are there? I just "rediscoved" this show the other day and wanted to get caught up. Anyone know where/when old episodes will be available?

Does anyone have a plot summary for the episode before 'Question Authority?' I missed that one. :(

I agree that Luthor already had this stuff set up. But I'm not sure that he surmised that Waller had already moved everything. I think Luthor was planning to blast Cadmus and eliminate Waller and the Question; and after Superman rescued the Question, Luthor was still hoping to nail Waller. Especially since the way Luthor said goodbye when he hung up on Waller.

I'm still wondering about the previous episode, and Luthor's rant as he was throwing The Question around like a ragdoll. Luthor having a young strong body is one thing, but he looked like he was displaying some superstrength there. I wonder if it's Luthor at all in that body? Also, his little comment about 'Do you know how much power I'd have to give up to be merely President?'....
