Kaiju template ???

What's the kaiju template ? I keep hearing that for a while now.

It is simply one of the Best. Templates. Ever.

Essentially, it takes a normal critter and turns it into a Godzilla-like Colossal mutant. It has a laundry list of special abilities, which makes for alot of variety.

It appeared in Dragon #289 and was created by James Jacobs.

huh... isn't Dragon #289 a 3.0 issue ? If so, how about sending me the template, and I'll convert it to 3.5.

What do you say ?

heh, yeah, and we had a lot of fun with it here right after it came out. even had a kaiju black pudding and a kaiju nymph.

Thanks for the info, I finally got my hands on this template: it rocks.

But it looks like the abilities are a bit weak for 40+ HD creatures.

10d6 or 15d6 doesn't seem to pack a punch.

Don't you guys agree ?

Hit dice doesn't have to do with much. If you apply it to say, an eagle or something, you have a CR 16 monster, and 15d6 packs a punch at CR 16....
