Kazz't the Devil vs. Hanoi Xan

Hanoi's first hand

1. The dagger slays the wastelands; wards off the edge of the teardrop!
2. The spear decimates the plain; waves away the throw of the rain!
3. The rabbit flies in the midst of the cemetery; averts the drive of the leaf!
4. The raven bashes the badlands; fends off the beauty of the willow!
5. The frog scourges the canyon; reduces the quickening of the lightbeam!

[/b]The spear decimates the plain; waves away the throw of the rain! [/b]

Even as the needle flies towards him, Hanoi smiles. This will be too easy, he thinks to himself.

Keeping his eye on the needle, Hanoi Xan falls into the spear stance, his head pivoting, his arms coming down in a sweeping motion. The motion is timed just right and the needle is knocked away.

Even as the needle flies down and away from him, Hanoi spins, arms outstretched. The demon is forced to duck away as Hanoi's arms fly at his head but even as the demon ducks with some skill, the tip of Hanoi's foot is sweeping around at the fiend's belly.

Hmm* the judge leans back in his chair and meditates on the two moves...*

Both moves are quite strong... but the attack of Kazz't is so deadly that merely touching it may prove harmful to one's chi...

1 Ricecake for the Demon Kazz't. 1 Ricecake for Kazz't 3 Neutral.

*tosses a bloody ricecake down on Kazz't side*

My last post tonight

The raven bashes the badlands; fends off the beauty of the willow!

Hanoi snarls at the judges call. It is obvious that he is not hurt by the magic of the demon! Still, he intends to win this fight, magic or no.

Hanoi Xan leaps into the air over the demon, black robes fluttering behind him like a bird's black wings. As he comes down he kicks backwards, bashing the demons head from behind. Using this as his launching point he flips again into the air, away from his opponent. He turns and twists in mid-air, black cloak billowing and as he flies, his arms move in and out of the fluttering fabric in a display of flashy showmanship.

He lands gracefully on the ground in a defensive position, his left hand motioning to his opponent, indicating he is ready for whatever the fiend wishes to try.

The phoenix drowns the cemetery; dodges the terror of the water!

The lesser devil takes note of his opponents actions as he was being bashed around, but turns his intentions to otherwise. The previously formed circle of flames that surrounded Kazz’t roars as more energy stolen from Chi of Hanoi Xan fuels it, Kazz’t knows this and begins to take advantage of it. The infernal fiend holds up his hands, the flame gathering into his palms and unleashing as a fiery blast towards Hanoi Xan, exploding and burning the surroundings sending a smoke screen around the warrior-leaving the damage to be uncertain for the moment, however, at the center of the fire blast, under Hanoi Xan, a pool of unnaturally shimmering water formed soon after…

Edit-Ok Wicht, I can post again for the next round if Skarnkai judges fast enough and for tomorrow probably 1-2 pm CST and then after 3 tomorrow, depending if the boards are closed/connection timed out.

Hmm interesting moves, both run counter to each other.
I sincerly doubt that Hanoi will drown however, and in your move you open yourself to his strikes, Kazz't.

Ricecake to Hanoi. 4 Ricecakes neutral.

*moves the bloody rice cake back to the center*

The frog vanquishes the pond; sings with the drive of the lava! *yen*

"Very well, but Hanoi will soon see the true meaning of my previous conjuration...", with that, Kazz’t continues to follow up his attacks, this time he begins to chant again, this time very loudly. After this his skin turned a slightly green complexion for a moment-then-something shocking happens. Kazz’t opens his mouth, and instead of a normal tongue showing, his tongue elongated like a frogs and touched the bottom of the pool under Hanoi Xan, which soon starts to flow rapidly and soon ignite, changing into a pool of lava as his former chant reverberates off his surroundings.

(thats it for 2night for me)

The dagger slays the wastelands; wards off the edge of the teardrop!

Hanoi leaps away from the swiftly flowing oncoming lava, twisting to avoid even so much as a splash, lest his wonderful, billowing black cloak be caught on fire.

"What's the matter demon?" asks Hanoi, "Afraid to fight hand to hand?"

As Hanoi Xan continues to spin away from the lava he spins closer and closer to the conjuring fiend. All that can be seen of him is the fluttering, spinning black cloak, until at last he is close to the demon and with one final spin, his hand appears as if by magic and it clutches a dagger aimed at the demon's heart.

I just realized we are not doing a speed match... doh. And 4 flags  This fight will never be over with whitebelts unless one of us is a much better writer than the other  Just to warn you, about the 10th hand I think I'll call for sudden death ;)

Hmmm interesting moves.. Hanoi's fights well but it seems the Demon Kazz't has a long term strategy here....

1 Ricecake and a Yen to Kazz't. 1 Ricecake Kazz't 3 Ricecakes Neutral
