Kazz't wins vs. Leomon, New Record Set! (Thanks CS!)

OOC: Move is "The staff scourges the desert; dominates the slash of the tides!"

IC: Leomon, in pain from the previous attacks at him, had discovered a weakness is his plan. The devil lord was simply too large for his smaller attacks to do much good. Thinking of a weapon big enough, a spell came to mind. Muttering some words of magic, he enlarged a stick into a giant staff, and swung at the devil lord's head, hoping to knock him too off-balance to attempt any magic, or slash at him with his fearsome natural weapons.

"You Bore me." Kazz't says, making a quick gesture with his hand and summoning a horde of lemures and skeletons, which stand inbetween Leomon and him.

Dirty Trick!

OOC: The move is "The phoenix thrusts the tundra; redirects the push of the bone!"

His wounds healing, and breathing a sigh of relief that his attack was good enough for the devil lord to have to use trickery to deflect, Leomon prepared for another attack. "Your deception will not win this fight so easily." Roaring loudly, he summoned Birdramon to his aid, the phoenix sending firey wingflaps down onto the arctic field melting it, and Leomon clininging to hope that the change in terrain would harm the devil lord more then it harmed him.

Leomon goes over to strike Kazz't and ends up killing...an illusion of the Devil Lord, which winks out.

"Not there, child, over here." A voice farther into the darkness quips, "Come, come further into the depths of hell."

Dirty trick!

"Care to up the ante? You win versus me here, and I will give you a grand sum of twenty yen. I win, and I keep your soul, do we have a deal?" Kazz't chuckles.

OOC: The move is "The calm oak dominates the well; leaps over the pain of the blade!"

IC: "I have no intentions of giving up my soul." Leomon growled, "Especially not to someone who refuses to fight face-to-face, and uses deceit to evade my attacks." He added, and then got ready to attack. Completely exhausted by the magic he had recently used, Leomon knew he could not attempt another decent attack, so he focused on defending himself. He stood calm as an oak, sword in front of him ready to parry any attack. Once Kazz't had began to think the lion was not going to attack, he leaped over anywhere the devil would strike, and energy recovered, unleashed his mighty "Fist of the Beast King!" attack, sending a lion-headed burst of energy at the abomination.(Well, technically an outsider, but if he was native to this plane, I think he would be classified as an abombination.)

(Nah, he's from Hell)

"A Pity, Oh Well." A shimmering barrier of force surrounds the overly confidant archfiend as Leomon strikes, completely negating the attack.

"Shall we get on with the fight now?" The devil smiles.

Dirty Trick!

OOC: The move is "The manticore assaults the brush; negates the blood of the feline!"

Leomon's attack had taken a bit out of him, and Kazz't had blocked it without breaking a sweat. He was tired, from all the efforts he had put up, but he was not going to give in, he had to beat Kazz't. While the lion didn't like resorting to such underhanded tactics, he had once found some very potent poison, and while his own feline blood would be used, and much of it negated, he had to do something. Cutting himself with his sword, he caught his blood in a vial that contained some poison, and threw the mix at the devil, hoping he would inhale the cloud that, as it had the shape of a lion and was made of poison, might be the essence of a manticore itself.

The cherry blossom dances in the midst of the well; grasps the touch of the mountain!

Sneaky Trick: River!

"I have learned several amusing demon powers myself, being a bit more diverse as far as devils go, let me show you one of my lesser known talents."

The background changes as the limelight shines around Kazz't, all viewers are stunned for what happens next...he begins to !!!River Dance!!!

...Tap...Tap...Tap...and a few moments later.

Kazz't's Dance of Ruin wrecks havoc on the battlefield, crumbling even mountains in his wake while everyone remains hypnotized by the river dance, when the Devil Lord finally stops, he smiles again, "As you humans would say...

Chevvy, built like a vRock."

Oh, I love sollir's rather lame wit, but this point goes to Leomon, the self-sacrificing one. Afterall, the guy who invented River-Dance couldn't hurt a fly (destroy ones motivation, yes, but not hurt it physically).

1 Flag Leomon

5 Flags Kazz't!

OOC: The move is "The foot kicks the brush; averts the slash of the garden!"

IC: Leomon, rather sure the poison had driven his opponent insane with the weak "River Dance" attack having occured, but glad to have hurt the devil lord some, thought of how to attack again. Magic would not do well, even if he wasn't so badly injured that using it now would drop him into unconsciousness. However, few things beat the element of surprise in a battle, and Leomon knew exactly what his opponent was not prepared for. With a powerful leap, the lion digimon got into position, and then delivered a painful kick into Kazz't face, averting any slash(Or hopefully spell) he might try as it was very hard to see well after being kicked in the face.
