Has there been a Kansas City game day? Anybody plannig one/want one? After the thread about stores in KC I noticed there were a few of us in the region. (I'm out in Topeka now..but close enough. ) Just curious.

I think we've tried before - there was one successful one before I moved here, and chatter about one last year but it never really came about. I don't think there's a ton of us, and I don't think we were incredibly organized last time. I'm up for one since I moved here something like three weeks after the last one that happened, but I have zero organizational skills.

The Role-Player's Guild of Kansas City has monthly games. I've never tried it out, but it sounds really cool.

I organized the first couple of game days. The first was held at TableTop, and the second we did at a hotel in Olathe, I can't remember the name. It seems like it was at the Hampton Inn there at 135th and I-35.

The third was basically myself, and two of my friends at 31st Century games in Olathe. No one else bothered to show.


I would avoid the KCRPG like the plague, personally. The guys in that group are generally only interested in running RPGA games, and have no desire to branch out into anything other than that. They are also the ones responsible for running ShaunCon, which is basically a big vehicle to run all the new RPGA modules. So, if you think the RPGA is the best thing since sliced cheese, then you might enjoy that group.
