Keith Baker going PF2 would be really, really good for expanding their audience. Only Ed Greenwood would make bigger waves in that regard. WotC needs to be sending Ed some Doordash and roses right about now.

Level Up isn't 5e, that's the whole point.
It is designed to be compatible with 5e, and uses base rules that are very similar in most respects. You can explicitly use it in conjunction with WotC materials with little or no problem.

If to you, "5e" actually means, "the series of products produced by Wizards of the Coast as the 5th edition of Dungeons & Dragons", please let me know. To me, WotC and 5e are not synonymous, and I think this miscommunication causes folks here to talk past each other.

Eberron is my favourite DnD campaign setting, I love the mix of genres and wide variety of stuff it can support. One of the few non WotC 5e books I bought was Exploring Eberron. So it pains me to think of Eberron without Keith, but I do understand
