Keith Baker: Have Dice, Will Travel

Hi Keith, hope you can get more places to stay here in Brazil besides Rio! At least here you have plenty of ofter :)
At the moment, all my Brazil connections seem to be coming from Rio. If you know of anyone elsewhere who'd like to host me for a night or three, send them my way!

Might be worth having a meet Keith party, or night out, or take Keith to the Mall day..or something.
Hmm. I was planning to head Northwest in March, but hey, an ENWorld event sounds good to (and I'm all for a meet Keith party, since I know there's many more people in the area than I'd have time to visit one on one)... I'll consider it.

Hey Keith,

How cool that you're travelling around the world! I've just returned from doing so -- visiting Thailand, Burma, Cambodia, Vietnam, China, Mongolia, Russia, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Kenya, Tanzania, Zambia, Namibia, South Africa, Argentina, Uruguay, Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador, Panama, Costa Rica, and Nicaragua, over the course of two years.

I played D&D in each and every one of these places, using MapTools, in a game run on the Necromancer Games forums.

I'm not anywhere interesting at the moment (Houston, Texas, looking for a job!).

As far as I know, I have played D&D in more countries (25, including the USA) than anyone on earth. I challenge you to beat my record!

Oh, and I know some gamers in Buenos Aires, Argentina that I could hook you up with, if you're interested!

We'd love to have a chance to meet you :), that much I can vouch for, be it for a game or just a visit to some sights Croatia has to offer.
If someone in your group has a couch I can sleep on, I'd love to visit Croatia! Drop me an email with more information!

With that said, I should warn people that this is going to be a long-term project that may even stretch into 2010. At the moment my list is up to something along the lines of 38 states (and I'd like to get them all if I can) and around 21 countries... and I'm likely making multiple stops in some of these countries, because hey, if I'm going to make a trip to South Africa or Brazil, why not take a little time to enjoy it? Just multiple that base 59 by three days, and if I was traveling non-stop (and I won't be) you're still looking at six months of straight travel. I'll be plotting my course over the next few weeks, so if you're interested, I'll be able to give you a clear sense of when I expect to be in your area... I just want people to realize that this is going to be going on for a while!

Thanks to everyone who's responded!

I'm definitely interested, Ken. Feel free to pass along my info. (Likewise, ANYONE should free free to pass along my info - I'm interested in seeing as many places as possible!)

The Traveler is probably my favorite deity in Eberron... so all I'll say is Beware My Gifts!

Please don't leave huge hole in my house, or in my city!

Until 2010? Long trip! 2009 is Eberron year. You will gonna carry a nice laptop to keep feeding us with very nice Eberron content, right? Right?!

I have passed along your info. They're a fun group; I was their DM for the 8 months I lived in Buenos Aires.
