Are these meant to be applied to a weapon type, like bastard swords, or to one particular weapon, like that bastard sword your father gave you and you sleep with every night and no other.
I took it to mean weapon type. Kensai Mastery at least mentions type, and I don't see a reaon to force a player to use the exact same weapon for their entire career, although at least AV has given them the means to do so and still get better or different enchantments as they level up.
I'm inclined to say "all bastard swords" for both, too ...
Though I've had to argue against a different interpretation entirely, as someone claimed different "type of weapon" to be different to "heavy blade."
