The ad didn't bother me but it made me ponder how strange people are. I've rarely been in a group where it was only 'official' goods. Hell, anyone remember Arduin and Role Aids? How about Flying Buffalo? Great stuff!
Now if it's a core book, will any of it be releasedas Open Game Content? Perhaps latter? Gentlemen's agreement? I believe that is one of the few problems people have with the 'offiical' D&D status Kenzer has. It'd be nice to see some more quality OGC material, especially if it's already been approved by Wizards of the Coast.
