Wrath of the Autarch is a kingdom building game, inspired by games like Birthright, Ars Magica, Crusader Kings, and Houses of the Blooded. It features troupe based play, no gamemaster, and an asymmetric struggle between one player (who takes on the side of the Empire of the Autarch) and the other players (who build a society in the Empire's shadow).
Wrath of the Autarch was built from the ground up as a kingdom building game! There's an abstract resource mechanic for handling trade and building developments, inspired by modern boardgame design. Scenes are framed cooperatively using external triggers from either dice or cards. Finally, there are mini-games for diplomacy, infiltration, skirmish, and warfare.
