so, your party has just slain, captured and reinstituted all the slayable capturable and reinstitutable.

now what? i was trying to come up with a comprehensive idea list for the not-so-violent mini adventure (or full blown adventure) for the in between. you know, till evil rears its ugly head again.

1 the defection
2 the flood
3 the portent (eclipse, white raven in the belltower, four legged frogs in the moat..wow, this may be in its own thread!)
4 the whodunit
5 the trade deal

anyone wanna contribute?

6. Protection (caravan, etc)
7. Exploration -- map a pass, an unknown wilderness, the deep Underdark
8. Be a missionary -- convert heathens to the worship of your god
9. Find the lost ...
10. Deliver a message/package/person
11. Have fun at the fair/tournament
12. Embarass your rival
13. Woo a significant other
14. Build a stronghold
15. Help the harvest
16. Hunt for food for starving villagers
17. Go into buisiness (buy resources, craft, sell ...)
18. Search for components to craft your magic MacGuffin
19. Get elected to the town council
20. Convince the town council to do X
21. Put on a play/concert/performance

Let me add to the list:

26. Roam the land to find the best chefs for soups, savouries, fish, poultry, joints, pudding, and dessert, then buy them and open a killer restaurant.

27. Disentangle a romantic tangle.

28. Reform an institution.

29. Go to a senior martial arts instructor and demand a lesson....
