A thoughtless couple in their 20s who left their four-month old daughter at home while they played Internet computer games at a nearby PC café have been booked by police after the child died.

Time flew by as the couple lost themselves in the game, and when they returned home at 9:00 p.m., their daughter was lying on her stomach, dead of suffication.

That could have happened while doing anything - playing tennis for example. This should be blamed on lack of attention and responsibility, not a game.

I remember when I was in Japan, every summer there would be at least one child who died because the parent left them in the car while they were playing Pachinko. The only twist to this sad story was that it involved a new (relatively) obsessive interest, rather than one of the old ones.
