Knight Rider is the one series that didn't really seem to stand up the test of time. I could still enjoy A-Team and Airwolf (early seasons), I think. But Knight Rider was my absolute favorite as a kid and today it just doesn't stand up anymore. A-Team has all the fun character interactions and the crazy escape plans (or rather crazy places to lock up a bunch of professionals), Airwolf has the entire Cold War stuff that I didn't get a child but can appreciate as adult. But Knight Rider seemed to have lived mostly on the talking car and the stunts, and has minimum character interaction and no depth.
See: Robocop.I would love to see a "reimagination", continuation or whatever, but I am not sure there is a way to really make it good.
