So, to sum up:
One-trick ponies are not broken, however neat and/or cheesy their trick is, because intelligent opponents move heaven and earth to take that trick away from them. DMs should let such PCs have their moment in the sun occasionally, but not all the time, lest the party bard begin a series of slanderous songs about the Knight PC.
