Knights of Badassdom

I'll just admit it. This movie's style is not for me.

I view this movie as being in the same category as the Dungeons and Dragon's movie: half-camp, half-facetiousness.

I prefer Ladyhawke.

It's a comedy though, like Shaun of the Dead vs Night of the Living Dead. Dungeons and Dragons was only unintentionally comedic.

Some people don't like comedies, though, that's understandable.

I sense a great polarization of geekdom not witnessed since GenCon 07....

I agree with you - I think it looks funny, plus it has geek icons like Dinklage, Glau and Danny Pudi (the DM from the D&D episode of Community) in it. I would feel like I owed it to them to see it in the theater.
