This is exact same argument my friend and I have over Cowboys & Aliens. I'm firmly in the "This cannot be anything but 100% canned awesomesauce" camp. He's decidely...not.

In the case of both KoB and C&A, I AM the Schrödinger's Cat. I look at both and cannot decide if they are bad or good...

And what I fear most is that I will go into a theater (box) and get killed by the awfulness of one...ESPECIALLY if it's the first one I see.

I've always been way too self-conscious to even consider LARPing, but this looks like a fun idea for a movie...

Reminds me *a little* of the novel GameEarth by Kevin J Anderson, except that instead of gamers on earth entering a fantasy world, it's fantasy being summoned to earth by gamers.

But I think mine and Umbran's posts are a perfect example of the Schroedinger's Cat Paradox...until the movie is observed, it's both awesome and stinks.:p

That's a bit of a misnomer. When something paradoxically can both stink and not stink, it's observes the principles of Schroedinger's Scat.

Scroedinger's Kitty Litter Box is a great idea: no need to clean it until you feel like observing it.

Now if only there was a way to deal with Schoedinger's Cat's Hairballs, especially the soppy wet ones I accidentally "observe" with the bottom of my foot in the middle of the night.

As for the movie: not quite what I was expecting based on that second trailer, but looks like fun-- though I can't tell if it's going to be in a "real" fun way, or a "so horrible it's fun" sort of way.

I'll just admit it. This movie's style is not for me.

I view this movie as being in the same category as the Dungeons and Dragon's movie: half-camp, half-facetiousness.

I prefer Ladyhawke.
