Knights of the Old Republic 2: The Sith Lords

Yup, still human only.

I actually support the choice... I think it's not practical to adjust the story, equipment and character animations for drastically different alien races, and if you don't, does it really matter what kind of "human in funny makeup" your character is?
Only if you're already spoiled by Morrowind. ;)

oh yeah let it be the ebon hawk again, long live the flying stapler.
Speaking of which, where can I find the stats for Star Wars d20? Though I want the official version (either WotC or BioWare/LucasArts can offer me), I'm open to their own interpretation.

crap one complaint I had with 1 wasn't changed. Why the heck do you start with only 30ish points for stats when every npc schmuck with you has a whole lot more. The trainer lady has like 3 16;s and a couple 12's and a 10 I think. I wouldn't of minded to start with 3 16's and still be able to ge the rest of my stats out of the negatives. look the number of points in stats is fine if they did the same for the rest of your party, but they don't so I don't like it.

I think this time around, it's only an issue with Kreia - I just took a quick look at my party, and as far as I can tell, most of them are 30 point characters just like you. I could be off a little bit, since they're level 22 now and I didn't bother stripping all their gear off, but I don't thnk so.

Although if you look at the stats for the various movie heroes in the SW d20 boooks, 30 points does feel a little light for people that develop into some of the greatest heroes in existence. (although only a little)

I got it Saturday and I'm almost finished, and while it's hooked me, I'm kind of disappointed with it.

Fun to play, but the characters in your "party" dont' seem to nearly have the depth that they did in the first. I mean, you always have the same identical conversation with them, except that eventually you might get a different answer if your influece is high enough. I liked the old method better (which was like NWN), when they said something new about themselves ever level or two that you gained. And when they get added to your party, half the time it's like there's no introducetion, boom, they just get added.

Plus, the game was too front loaded. Too much on the first planet/base, which was excruciatingly boring. Too little of wandering around the other planets kicking ass with a lightsaber.

That said, they really extended the game engine itself. It's fun tweaking out your characters. And I do like how you get to play more of the other characters, not just your main guy.
