"Knock Down" feat question

First Post
Hi,

If my character with knockdown feat has 4 attacks and he hits with each attack and deals 10+ damage, does he get 4 trip attacks against the same target?

If he attacks and hits for 10+ damage against 4 different targets, does he get 1 trip attack against each target?

As I understand, he does not get new attacks when he executes his bonus attacks, so it is not the loop I'm looking for :)

Thanks for your help.

4 attacks against a single opponent: for each individual hit that does over 10 pts of damage you get a trip attempt. Each hit is qualified seperatly; don't total damage and compare it aginst the 10 pt threshhold for Knockdown. If you make 4 attacks, and each hits each doing 10 or more damage per hit, then you would get 4 seperate trip attempts. Best to resolve the trips on a per-hit basis, as being prone makes your opponent easier to hit.

Yes. Whirlwind Attack + Knockdown can be rather fun that way.

Knowndown and Improved Trip do not interact in any way, shape, or form aside from the fact that Imp Trip is a pre-req for Knockdown. If and when you Knockdown a target successfully, you do not get the follow-up attack that is allowed by the Improved Trip feat. This is clarified in the FAQ.
