Know what bothers me about d20?: Not very much.

Here, here!! You're just a good guy Rel.

Aw, shucks. :o Nice of you to say that, Fett.

See, I'd much prefer to be reading about your ongoing adventures than the complaint-du-jour about d20. Maybe I just need to subscribe to more story hour threads. ;)

Did you check out the Rogue's Gallery stuff I posted? I know it's not the story hour, but I thought the maps would be fun.

I did indeed. Very nice to be able to better visualize the travels of the party.

Great! You'll need the map of the world soon.

I am limited to what dshai527 gives me you understand? I'll try to put anything else I can in the thread.

By the way, did you feel at all interested in the explanations on Ashrem's items of interest at 13th level that we're left off?

EDIT: Sorry for the minor hijack. :)

Count me in the 'silent majority' group. The only concerns my group generally has is our differing opinions on what is 'evil' and what is 'good'. ;)

Maybe. But even in the "bashing" threads there are posts defending d20 and D&D.

Never had a problem with the rules themselves. My main beef has always been with the attitudes of certain people who see the RAW as a axe and the GM a weak sapling.

I am under the impression that most of the bashing threads are due to player/GM problems than anything else.

However, I have had rules problems with players in my groups as far as stacking bonuses, magic item creation costs, interpretation of feats and skills limitations, etc. Some players even contacted The Sage about rules interpretations. Which is all well and good but in my case detracted from the spirit of the game. Much of this may have gone away with 3.5 or has been alleviated through time. The other aspect is that I have had these problems occur to different degrees in different groups, thus, pointing more to player/GM interaction than just rules interpretations.

If rules interpretation discussions came up in Rel's game he did not touch on any of these in his original post. Maybe they were non-existent or limited.

We've had a few rules discussion conversations and minor conflicts in our games. But we always do our best to discuss what we view as problems and come to a quick decision about what we deem fair and then move on.

Its all opinion really. I enjoy 3.5 Dnd, but there are many aspects I find ill thought out or just dislike as a matter of taste. Threads about how cool 3.5 Rogues are can be an intersting change of pace, and the hissy fits some throw can be tiresome, but I come to get help with the rules and see what other people are using.
