My anima mage (from Tome of Magic) regularly binds Dantalion, which gives a +8 to all knowledge checks. Not only do I know that vrocks are harmed by good-aligned weapons, have the power to emit spores, and can cast mirror image, I also know the one we're fighting is named Wanda.

You might even know if she has issues with facial hair, and that her aunt Gertrude has a drinking problem :)

Ah, but do you know that Gerty had polio when she was younger and now drinks to make it stop hurting?

I think that would require a 50 on your knowledge check. So, I suppose it depends on your bonuses, and your roll :)

In the Complete Scoundrel there is a sill trick (costing 2 skill points) that allows you to add +5 to one knowledge check to gain info on a monster once per encounter. Haven't got the book and cant remember the tricks name off the top of my head, but i'm sure somebody else will point you in the right direction

Hmm cant find it anywhere on the Internet, but what do you gain from dragontouched?

You gain some skill bonuses, but the part that helps with knowledge checks is that it grants the dragonblooded subtype and lets you qualify for Draconic Heritage. Being dragonblooded makes the Draconic Aura feat scale with level (which is very nice), while Draconic Heritage qualifies you for Draconic Knowledge.

I have a character who has a lot of knowledge skill points, but I want more if it is posibble.

Level 5 wizard

*He has the Academic variant which make knowledge skills cost the half ( 1 rank = 2 rank ) with the normal maximum.
* He has the feat University ( 8 skillpoints extra from start, 4 per level - only class skills).
Where did these two things come from? They look interesting.

Persuade your DM to allow Call to Mind as a Wizard spell. Then make wands of this spell. You now pwn Knowledge checks.

One other thing. Does your Wizard have a familar? Your familiar has all of your skills. And it can automatically Aid Another you on any skill that it has +9 in for a +2 bonus.
