Kobold Miniatures?

WOTC made a 2-pack blister of kobolds in their D&D 3e line. One is holding a spear, the other a crossbow. These are nice b/c the look more like the MM kobold and less "dog-faced" (please no rants/flames about whether Kobolds a dog or lizard-like :) )

There are three choices for kobold minis, and I use all three. There's the Reaper pack, good for an assorted collection of kobolds; then WoTC's pack, which makes excellent kobold soliders (I gave all of mine the same black uniform, for a feel of LE uniformity). There is also a pack from Kenzer, which features the older dog-like look.

I have both packs. They actually go together quite well. The "lizard-like" features of the Kenzer minis are fairly subdued since they are so small.

I like the Reaper ones better (esp the cool champion w/2-H axe) and they are cheaper (5 for $8 as opposed to Kenzer's 4 for $10).

We often use "snotling" figures from Games Workshop/Warhammer. They are about the right size, and can be pretty cheap if you can find them.
