[KotOR] mission help (possible spoilers)

Thanks for confirming about the swoop bikes. I went nuts for nearly 4 hours one day trying myriad different ways to get bike upgrades before concluding they were a myth. It makes me think they were going to add them, but pulled back due to design problems, or something similar. :(

The swoop races were probably the most challenging part of the whole game, IMO. It was one thing you just simply... had to be good at. I must've practiced for an hour on the Tattooine track alone. :)

Interesting. The only swoop race I even tried was the first one on Taris. It just didn't appeal to me. On top of that, I never played pazzak... not once! :D

I managed to get the top tier on Tatooine, but could only clear the 1st level on Manaan.

As for Pazzak, I bought the deck from the old man on Taris, and played a couple times with Mission, but that's it.

I am glad to see some consensus that the Swoop racing is darn hard! I was feeling like a loser because I could not get up to Nico's standard on Tatooine. I might just skip it for now.

I am pretty good at Passak, though.
