No reason something can't be alien and beautiful.

But two eyes (with pupils), a mouth (with teeth), a beard, two arms attached at shoulders, two flippers attached at hips isn't very alien, no matter how many tails it has.

True (though it actually has 8 flippers), but I don't need it to be alien, but I would like it to be different. Heck the 1e original is just a giant squid with a human scowl and eyes! I feel the 5e version is an improvement over that!

That being said, I don't like the tentacle beard (probably the most "alien" part).
