Kryptonian!

OK, I was feeling bored tonight, so here's a race I came up with. Only thing I'm not sure of is how much of a LA they should have. I figure at least +4 or +5, just going from their ability modifiers.

Kryptonian
Humanoid (Alien)
Medium size
+10 Str, +5 Con
60 foot move speed, 120 foot Fly (Perfect)
Fast Healing: All Kryptonians have Fast Healing equal to 1/2 their Hit Die, rounded up.
Damage Reduction: All Kryptonians have DR/magic equal to 1/2 their Hit Die, rounded down, minimum of 1.
Searing Rays (Su): At will, a Kryptonian may fire one Searing Ray from his each of his eyes, dealing 2d6 fire damage for every 3 HD the Kryptonian possesses.
X-Ray Vision (Ex): A Kryptonian may see through any material less dense than lead, regardless of thickness. Lead, and metals denser than lead block this vision.
Kryptonite Bane: Kryptonians are especially vulnerable to the fields of Kryptonite. Whenever a Kryptonian is within an Anti-Magic Field being created from a piece of Kryptonite, he looses access to all of his racial abilities (including his DR and Regeneration), takes 1d6 damage for every round he is within the area of effect, and is sickened for as long as he remains in the area.
Alignment: Any Lawful
Level Adjustment: +5

Cool. Only thing that needs to be added is that they can easily pass as normal humans by wearing a suit and glasses ;) . Nice one. Personally I would have gone with the original consept of superman so he wouldn't be able to fly, only to jump extremely long or high. And some other minor tweaks but as the modern kryptonian that looks good.

This reminds me of an NPC from one of my old D&D campaigns who was essentially Kal-El crashed to medieval europe. One thing to consider about Kryptonians is that nearly everything about them is conditional. That is to say, Superman is only 'Super' on Earth under a yellow sun/G-type main sequence star. In the comics magic harms Superman as if he were a normal mortal (I translated this into 'can only be hit by magic weapons or spells').

Alignment should not really be a factor but if you must go traditional, Kryptonians as a people are often depicted as Lawful Good or in more modern interpretations Lawful Neutral. As with any intelligent species and especially one with an advanced culture, variations in alignment are bound to pop up.

Bump for more comments, trying to be somewhat serious, please?

Okay, if you're looking for serious comments.

+10 to strength and +5 Con is severely underwhelming. Kryptonians in a yellow sun environment have usually been portrayed as virtual demi-gods, shaking the earth they trod upon with their power. I'd break it up into Kryptonians in their native environment (an alternate Prime or demi-plane) and Kryptonians empowered by the might of a yellow sun.

On Krypton, I might give them something like +4 strength and constitution, and 2 Fey HD to represent them being tougher than your average human. (The low light also works nicely for a race that lives under a red sun.)

Empowered by a yellow sun I'd start giving them stuff like +60 strength and +60 constitution, some sort of incredibly high damage resistance, immunity to all forms of energy, and stuff like that. Physically, one should be just about an even match for a Great Wyrm Dragon.
