Kung Fu Panda 2

Saw it and thoroughly enjoyed it. Definitely the best film of the summer so far IMO. The action scenes do go by a little bit too fast but the humour hits the spot and the designs are absolutely stunning. Lots of fun!

Maybe it just the trailers that I saw, but the picture quality on this movie looked worse than the first one. Is this actually the case?

Hi Krug,
I have just confirmed from the movie shop, Kung Fu Panda 2 is not yet released in our area.
Could someone share the premiere of Kung Fu Panda 2 please!

Just saw it in the UK with my kids. Great film, tackles an unanswered question from the first film although suffers a little from the 'matrix' problem - if the hero has reached the apex of ability at the conclusion of the first film, what do you do next? Answer - he has to forget some of his powers and become less awesome.

Nice humour, some good emotional scenes. Although I could help feeling that [sblock]
the final scene was put in after some preview screening audiences said 'too dark, too sad' and they decided to lighten it up a little. It would have been better without it IMO.

The film has 'dream' sequences which are of a different animation style. This is what you may have seen in the trailers.

I enjoyed it but felt that the ending was botched. It's one of those endings that has five endings in it. Every time you feel like the movie has concluded, there's another scene, which concludes and then there's another scene... which concludes and then there's another scene.

That and the 'realisation' scene was done too early which led to it being done a second time, which of course made the impact of both of them significantly less.

Then again, this is from an adult point of view. I'm guessing kids will love it 'cause it's cool and fun.
