Jallembo tries not to show his nervosity as Ximix casts his magic on him.
He doesn't feel any different and doesn't glow or anything so he goes back to the cave wondering what, if anything he might encounter.

He enters the inside of the cave cautiously letting his eyes getting used to the darkness before checking thoroughly his environment.

Brfore Jallembo enters the cave, he says, "Be on your guard. We're probably dealing with a necromancer, and they can be dangerous my friend."

With the spell on Jallembo is confident that he can sneak into the cave now. Mr. Cat decides to stay behind. As he approaches the cave again it looks erily (sp?) empty from outside. Nothing jumps out from above, nor from the shadows around him.

The entrance is a squeeze for him as he moves through the narrow entry way. Inside its quite dark because of the high canyon walls and narrow entrance. After a moment to adjust his vision, he can see that the cave opens up a bit wider and carries on back about 20 feet before ending? in a wall of rubble and loose rocks. Its quite difficult to make out more than that without light. He does note several tattered remains of cobwebs around him though.

cobwebs? hum, don't like that.. thinks Jallembo who picks up a torch and proceeds to lit it whilst glancingat the ceiling from time to time, fearing the worst. He stays close to the entrance whilst doing this.

Once it is lit, he brings it above his head and tries to see more of the ceiling first, then towards the rubbles...

With light Jallembo can see quite a bit more of the cave. As the light reaches the corners of the small cave, Jallembo sees a few spiders skitter out of sight even one about the size of a small rat. Looking up he sees that the cave is quite high, perhaps even 12 feet or so, no spiders drop down on him though. He also notices now that the rubble is only piled about 8 or 9 feet high leaving a gap at the top.

Satisfied with what he saw, Jallembo heads back outside the cave to wave at the others to join him. Once they've spotted him, he goes back inside and heads for the rubble that he climbs cautiously to avoid any stone to fall on the floor. He first keeps his torch beside him as he watches through the gap. He gives himself a few seconds to get used to the darkness, and , if he doesn't spot anything particular, brings his torch closer to improve his sight.

putting away his crossbow as jallembo signals the group, manon whips out his clib and examines it briefly. giving it a few practice swings. he then follows jallembo into the cave.

Jallembo crawls up the rubble. Its rough footing and he slips a little a couple of times, but he is careful (especially with a burning torch in one hand) and makes it to the top. He can't see anything without light (there are no apparent light sources further in). Once he brings up his torch he sees what looks like a corridor of worked stone beyond. It is quite different from the rough narrow cave and the rubble.

Outside Manon, Mr. Cat and the rest move up once signalled. They round the bend in the canyon and find a narrow fissure in the rock wall. The hole is only about 3ft wide but about 7ft. tall. Jallembo must have already gone inside.

a corridor? wow! an ancient tomb or more! hidden treasures? thinks Jallembo who's quite excited by his discovery.

He can hear the others arriving and waits for them to go through the narrow entrance. Once they're in, he whispers: "Not much in here, just a few cobwebs.. but, in there.. looks promising.. a corridor of some description.. maybe a proper tomb or something.. I'm going in!!"

Jallembo doesn't really give his companions a chance to reply and starts to crawl the top of the rubble to get to the other side. His senses are on alert..
