L1: Strange Doings (Erekose13 Judging)

[sblock=DM]What?! This cat is listening to a story?? I asked him to scout for me and he listens to a story! thinks a furious and disappointed Jallembo.

If the barn is not locked, Jallembo will enter with a smile and say: "Oh! Hello there.. I saw some light.. Hey here is my friend the cat.. and you.. you are Loft aren't you? Shouldn't you be sleeping at this time of day instead of reading a story to.. a cat?" Jallembo can hardly believe what he's saying. He'll move closer to them, being very friendly and ask what the book is about and whether they've heard/seen anything suspicious.
If it is locked, he will try the hole or ask the boy for permission to enter.

OOC: a few questions for you:
- who is Loft? have I seen this boy before?
- are the Tays known to be parents?
- how wide is the hole? Can Jallembo go through it?

[sblock=Jallembo]ooc: Loft is Richard Tey's son. You have met him before. He was the one who found his father and he was the one that went with the group to the 'holes' in which the stones were found.

The hole is only a few inches round and prooves difficult for Jallembo to even continue hanging onto it for very long.

The eastern side of the barn has the big barn door and a smaller entrance and faces the house. The south side is the long side and did not have any entrances. The west side (where you are now) does not appear to have any entrances either. You'd have to move along to the north side to see if there are any other entrances there.[/sblock]

[sblock=DM]Jallembo will walk along the north side before entering the barn by the eastern side if he doesn't find another entrance. He will stop at the north-east corner to check his surroundings first before engaging cautiously.

[sblock=Jallembo]Jallembo moves cautiously around the north corner. He spots a small side door about halfway along the side. It is slightly ajar. As quietly as possible he creeps up to the door. It looks fairly loose and easy to swing open. Easing it open he manages to make it inside without alerting anyone in the house nearby. Inside he sees the boy with the book and the cat not far away. They have not seen him yet.[/sblock]

[sblock=rest]So people are splitting into groups? Manon and Garrit go one way and Razin and Ximix go another way? Where do each group head first? I'm assuming you attempt all this with stealth, correct? It is currently very late at night that you are all creeping around. Its the second night you've been out here (the first was spent by Manon when he recruited Garrit and Ximix).[/sblock]

OOC: Kind of an awkward place in the adventure. Actions aren't so cut and dry, so people are slow to act. At least, that's what slowed me down a bit. But I think a new day (in game) may help by moving the timeline a little bit. IMHO.
