L1: Strange Doings (Erekose13 Judging)

[sblock=OOC]I quite agree, it is slow paced, and yet I do not know exactly what else I can do. I seem to be at a loss, and hoping someone will provide a bit of leadership for the direction of the next step. Ximix is looking for some clue, some reason to pick a path. Right now the missing member of the group is the only thing he has thought of to follow.[/sblock]

[sblock=ooc]There are a few trails that I've tried to highlight and that I know that LiquidBlue was working off of. The cave is the biggest one. Richard Tey's mistrust of the adventurers is another. The stones are the biggest mystery (for you and me both, though I've got an idea I'm running with). Where is it that you are all stalled and I can try to provide motivation or direction? or is there a general lack of options?[/sblock]

[sblock=DM]Jallembo produces a big smile and a wink, and replies: "Tss tss.. You want me to be in trouble with your dad??.. You know, between you and I, I don't think your dad likes strangers too much.. has he always been like this or is this since this man turned up?
Hum.. ok, I won't say anything, but.. you have to share a secret with me then!.. What about something about the village, and all these strange things going on about, hum?? And don't tell me about Mr Cat here.. I've made the acquaintance of that gentleman already!.."

[sblock=OOC]I personally don't have a problem with the plot and your DMing etc. I'm actually quite happy with "my cat" and trying to find some clues. it's just the pace that's a bit slow for me.. and this can be a problem in an investigation adventure as you tend to loose track of the clues.. [sblock=Jallembo]"About Dad and Mr. Gorth's cow? Don't know about either really. Dad has never passed out or anything like that, not that I know of anyways. And Mr. Gorth's cow? Ew that thing was like torn apart. Nothing I've seen could do that to a cow. But weird stuff beyond that? Well me and that Cat have been speaking for a while, but my dad doesn't like the cat around. Says that he's bad luck. My dad is always suspicious though, doesn't like you adventurers either. We've never been away from the farm and people who travel and see things not meant to be seen make him nervous." replies Loft. Jallembo notices that the edge of Loft's book is visible just under the hay. Looks like the title is Volidar's Tales.[/sblock]

stretching out after all the excitement. manon glances at the others and says " so where to now? i dont think we need to bother the farmers with the news of the skeletons, i think we might want to extend our search area.!" glancing at his companions in turn

[sblock=DM]"Hum, not much of a secret, but fine, I won't say a word to Dad.. Oh, what is that book about? may I have a look?"
Jallembo checks the book to understand its contents and asks: "So, where have you learnt to read Loft?? That's pretty good for a boy of your age and from the country side.."
He'll also glance at the cat and say: "So, you like hearing stories? What about what we discussed earlier on? Did you spot anything of interest, hum?"

OOC: does the title ring a bell?[/sblock]

[sblock=Jallembo]"This oh, uh nothing really." says Loft as he tries to tuck the book further under. With a slip of the hand though he manages to flip it open beside him. "Its, uh, a book of stories about adventurers. I learned to read from Mrs. Gorth a year ago."

In his head, Jallembo hears, No, nothing sorry, the boy had milk and a nice story so I stayed to wait for the farmer.

ooc: Volidar is known at the Red Dragon as a famous bard who collects tales from the many adventurers who range from there.[/sblock]

[sblock=Rest]So you all retire for the night, leaving the mystery of your departed companion for the morning? Sorry to confuse the issue by asking because its fine to go that way, I just wanted to make sure.[/sblock]
