To the cat he replies: "You mean he is not in his farmhouse now?? Have you checked?"


OOC: is Volidar the bard who came to visit the village and that Richard distrusted? what is his reputation back in town?[/sblock]

 

[Ximix]

Where are you headed? You are at the Gorth barn. Conceivably there are the other two farms as well as some where off in the dark.

Have we checked this barn?

[sblock=Jallembo]"The bard who traveled through here gave it to me, but my dad doesn't know. Please don't tell him." replies Loft.

Oh, uh, maybe, I checked in here first.

ooc: no Volidar was not the one who had come to the village. In Orussus, he has a good reputation as a teller of tales. Given that many of his tales are garnered from the adventurers at the Red Dragon, the patrons there have him in quite high regard.[/sblock]

ooc: yes, you've checked Gorth's barn and discovered that Jallembo is not there.

"Looks like it's me an you Ximix. Where are we headed?" Razin will ask.

 

[Amaury]

[sblock=DM]"Oh, he gave it to you? Really? He must have liked you very much.."
Jallembo then sits down and says: "Let me read a bit, and then you'll have to go to bed.." before seating by Loft and gently taking the book away from the kid. "Soooo.. what story should we read..? Let me see.." Jallembo says as he studies the book, checking for tales related to this area.
He reads one story and then says: "Now is time to sleep... Go and have sweet dreams.."
If one story seems of interest, he will ask to keep the book for the day, if not he will give it back to Loft.

Once he's done, he'll leave the barn with Mr Cat if he's happy to and head back to where he was sleeping, frustrated by his lack of progress.

[Ximix]

"Looks like it's me an you Ximix. Where are we headed?" Razin will ask.

"Lets meet back here in half an hour?"
Watching the other two party members head off, Ximix will turn to Razin and shrug in the dim light.
"Looks like we go the other way and see what we find."
With that Ximix will begin moving towards the farmstead that remains, making sure Razin can see alright and keeping a sharp eye ( and ear ) out for trouble.

[sblock=Jallembo]A quick flip through the book doesn't reveal any pertinent stories. Loft reluctantly agrees to head back to bed, but makes sure to hide his book before he goes (and makes sure you're not watching him when he does). Mr. Cat wants to sleep too and wants to go with you. Exiting the barn you see two of you companions sneaking up on the barn from across the field.[/sblock]

[sblock=Ximix and Razin]As you start moving out of the barn towards the Tey barn you spot Manon and Garit heading towards the Nam farm. You get about half way across the field when you see a shadowy form against the south western corner of the Tey barn.[/sblock]

[sblock=Manon and Garrit]You head out in the other direction from Ximix and Razin. You are about halfway to the Nam barn at the moment (waiting on others to see if they signal you).[/sblock]

turning to garrit manon whispers " i still think we should keep an eye on jallembo there. i want to know why he was just out and about with out the rest of us. no matter i suppose. i do have to ask though how did you all manage to destroy those undead so easily. my weapons seemed most ineffective"

[sblock= Razin & Ximix] Jallembo picks Mr Cat in his arms and heads outside the Teys barn, where he quickly spots two of his companions. He simply waves at them and gets closer. He's a bit concerned with the rest of the group: "Hey guys, where have you been? Where are Garrit and Manon??.. I left Garrit to check the fields over there.. have you seen him?" he asks as he gently strokes a cat resting on his forearm.[/sblock]

Ximix will move towards Jallembo and continue to scan the are. Turning his head slightly, he will whisper to Razin, "Don't mention the skeletons yet."
OOC: Ximix will move towards the barn, attempting to get a better look at the form in the shadows, warning his friends immediately should the form make any movement. Until then he will try to subtly lead the others towards the form. An additional set of Spot and Listen checks are not as impressive 15 and 9, respectively.
