L4W Discussion Thread III

Now that I have PHB2, AP and MP I've started considering a second character for L4W. So far still too many possibilities to choose from but
I did have a vague idea for a Goliath Warden.

One question does arise though- how come no place in the charter for PHB2 races apart from a brief nod towards shifters and gnomes?

Not a complaint, you understand, just a comment/question.

I think a gobbo saucier would be a nifty addition BUT would we not be a bit striker heavy and with no controller and with limited heals?

Warlord=Leader=Healer. Dang't is also eyeing Bard MC for another bit of healing.

And most of Dang't's powers are areas are multi-target, especially after AP is accepted.

OK That could work. When would you be considering the MC bit?

I've just been looking through my original notes from when I created Girth and I noticed that I had been considering MC'ing Girth into Paladin at some point. I had originally considered doing it early but went for a slight increase in Dex instead. Now I may consider it at Paragon

I could do it quite easily if I bump Con at 4, 8 and 11, Str at 4, 8 and 11, and Cha at 11.

I think Dang't would make a great addition to the MMC. A defender, a leader, and three strikers would be a team that could really tear through enemies.

If the rest of the MMC (and Phoenix) are cool with it, we could add a 6th person. That could be another melee leader or defender, giving more front line depth and more flanking partners for Hrav.

Don't forget that someone could create a second character that fits that description as well, if they want to join us. I'd do it myself if I could adventure with myself.

Given the fact that 3/4ths of the MMC are Judges, I imagine that such a character wouldn't have to wait long for approval.
