I can't make it there this year (just recently bought C&C and heard about this con), but I already told my wife that its on the calendar for next year (and she might come as well). This sounds like an absolute blast.

There is the Winterdark LGGC in January, but it is not quite as warm and welcoming as the summer event, and there is no porch party then

Both are relaxed and friendly of course.
