Large Full blade?

Ash:

Don't forget Strongarm Bracers in Magic Item Compendium, which for 6000 gp gives anyone the "use one size larger weapon" ability of powerful build, and has the same stacking limitations.

People also should not overlook Enlarge Person, a simple low level buff. The weapon may not be getting ay larger relative to you, but with Strongarm Bracers, a human is now a Large creature using a Huge greatsword.

Going off pure RAW for a second...If the sword starts getting stupidly Cloud Strife-like big, perhaps you could argue to your DM that your weapon is now effectively just a really powerful club :) and should thus be treated as a bludgeoning weapon and elligible for the Greater Mighty Wallop spell.

Viktor [to a reknowned weaponsmith]: So you're saying you could make my sword better at thumping things?
His sword, annoyed [it's an intelligent item]: You don't thump things with a sword!

Or alternatively this is what I am currently looking at for a half dragon fighter.

Two Weapon Fighting
Oversize Two Weapon Fighting (Complete Adventurer)
- When wielding a one-handed weapon in your off hand you treat it as light
Exotic Weapon Proficiency - Warmace

Stongarm Bracers (Magic Item Compendium) (6000 gp)
- Wield weapons as if you were one size larger

Large Warmace - 3d6 damage, -1 Ac for it being unwieldy.

So with this you can wield two Large Warmaces with only a -2 penalty on each attack (TWF and off hand light), you get a -2 ac penalty but Improved Buckler Shield and a +1 buckler cancels that out.

Mighy Wallop (spell from Races of the Dragon)
- Sor / Wiz level 1
- Weapons treated one size larger for damage.
- (I think a command word Ring of this would cost 1800gp, according to PCGen).

Either way I think the Strongarm Bracers are a better choice than Monkey Grip.
