AFAIK older versions are? Like, he makes v1.4 of a class, v1.3 goes up for free. Something like that? Not sure of everything that's included in his patreon. But I get where you're coming from.
And do they include the WotC artwork?

Everything that is not freely available on the Patreon doesn’t have attached artwork, last time I checked.

The Patreon features are advance previews that are art-free, some specific art-free subclasses, and access to Patreon-only channels in the Discord.

So the model is to use WotC's art in free material which promotes the commercial Patreon which has no art but is an advance preview of free material which then uses WotC's art?

Plus a Discord channel.

If I'm understanding that right. I assume they have their own legal representation and are comfortable with what they are doing.

But then, WotC hasn't acted against hundreds of people making and selling entire products using Homebrewery for years, which exactly mimics their trade dress.
