Very nice indeed. But then again, I'm always in for a good lovecraftian horror. Very well done my fellow rodent. Cheers ;)

I really liked it...and at least this time, I don't have to hear from certain quarters about how aberrations would never serve a Demon Prince! My only gripe is that there is a lot of 3.5e artifacts sprinkled throughout the text.

It will be fun to use this as an excercise for how to convert 3.5 adventures to 4E.

I'll point out one glitch I spotted (I think). The tactical maps seemed to have the wrong number of fish men on them, where the setup (page 91) lists a total of 4 fishmen, the statblock says 3 fishmen warriors, and the map shows 4 locations. Just a bit confusing, but I assume it was meant to be 2 warriors and 2 slayers.

This has the makings of a great October adventure for me to run.

Very Creepy  (and I mean that in a good way). Very nicely written. I hadn't read the original in 3.5 clothing so I can't compare, but this is really nicely done. Home Run Ari!

The only criticism I have isn't about the adventure itself but the standard format Dungeon is using.

This magazine is now completely digital, yet it seems to be written with an eye to sending it to a publisher. By this I mean small illustrations and maps in poor resolution. There is no page count to worry about anymore. Why won't they include all the maps in full size and printable resolution, both keyed and unkeyed? Why won't they include illustrations as full size handouts as visual aids for the DM? Dungeon editors need to break out of this paradigm that they are restricted by the cost of printing. Now that a lot of your limitations are no longer valid, please start using this media to its full potential.:(

Errata: As level 11 Soldiers, the Guardian Demons (p103) should have an XP value of 600, not 1000.
You know, I think every article Ari has put out has had some issue with the xp/level thing. I understand it happens when you shift monsters up and down the level scale, but still.

Finally some adventure worth reading. Good work Ari! :p

I must say, I was very disappointed with Dungeon adventures so far. They are very flat, very combat oriented, absolutly not using the skill encounter potential. Now this one uses both in more balanced way and I like it...

It is also less dungeon crawling and more urban setting!
