Later all! Off to EMT school!

Well, I don't want to chip in with negative remarks, but one of my friends is an EMT (ambulance driver) and is trying to get into firefighting.

He loves doing it, but at the same time, he has complaints about it:

Yeah, I have heard tons of horror stories. However here in seattle where the unemployment is 7% and rising any job is good. Here there are other options like Mountain Rescue, and a few other places. If I can get a different job even remotely close to the pay of a starting EMT for an ambulance driver, then I may not do it. We will have to see. I may be working at a racing shell manufacturing company. But it is good to have this to fall back on and it is somthing I would love to do. Thanks for the warning.
