The barbarian fist fighter prestige classes say the barbarian can bypass the DR of any creature with his natural weapons (fists).

Is this the first official example in print in a WoTC product that deals with this problem?

That's a benefit of that PrC. It doesn't apply to a straight up barbarian. Also, it's not a problem as it has long been clarified. Those new prestige classes are kinda cool though.

I don't think it is official at all. I think it is a mistake that they did not catch. Didn't the Sage rule the opposite?
