Law Devotion feat from Complete Champion

Can someone explain this feat to me please?

I don't understand getting the bonus "until your next action" and having it last for 1 minute.

Thanks

Don't have the book, so I can only extrapolate based on what you've posted.

Until your next action, 1 minute duration: So, it triggers when you next do something, provided that you do something within the next minute.

So it's not "on your next turn" it's "the next time you perform an action (to which the bonus could apply), provided such takes place within a minute".

Seem reasonable?

Let me copy a bit more to explain the question...

Once per day as a swift action, you get a bonus on attack rolls or AC until your next action. At the beginning of your next action, you can reallocate the bonus if desired. This lasts for 1 minute.

How do you interpret that? Are they substituting "next action" for "next round"?

Wait, maybe they mean something like this:
-- End of turn, activate feat for AC bonus
-- Beginning of next turn, reallocate it to attack bonus, take action (to attack)
-- Bonus is now gone

Or do you keep the bonus for the full minute?

Well, in that case I'd actually have to go with you keep the bonus for the full minute.

Take your swift action, apply the bonus. Bonus lasts a minute. Each round you get to choose where it applies.

The wording sounds sloppy, I'll admit.

The idea seems that you basically have a Bonus Chit that you can move around, but it only ever applies to one thing at a time.
