Githyanki in Eberron?

Any precedence for that? What are they like?

I was very pleased and surprised by the answer to Gnomes in the same vein.

On another topic,
I'm considering becoming a judge for L4E. My only apprehension is my inexperience with any mapping tool, and that I have never been a DM for a PbP game yet.

Githyanki in Eberron?
I think they'd be very rare and from 'somewhere else'.

The Arcane Congress could have 'summoned' you and you escaped the from Towers of Arcanix. If this sounds interesting, it goes into detail in origin stories in dragon 371.

All mounts come with basic equipment, including a saddle (AV 14); you take penalties if you choose not to use them. AV 14 is also where barding is included.

As for the carrying weight: Yeah, Its a bit wonky. I myself wouldn't worry about it for a single ridder.
Alirighty then. :p If you say don't worry about it then I won't! I wonder if future books will have more mount options for Eberreon specifically, like magebred valaren riding horse or those nifty elven tiger mounts.

Oh and which dragon issue has the new minotaur?

Ugh. Personally, I don't care for them in Eberron, but they are legal. I lost this debate in LEB 3.5 and its not really worth it here.

Their canonical connection to Eberron is a bit weak, but they don't have a large presence regardless. They are essentially a humanoid race that rebelled against their Xoriat masters long ago and escape to other planes; some live on Eberron. It is unclear their original origin—some say they were twisted from Dhakaani slaves, others say they are from another place outside of Eberron.

L4E? Shouldn't you be posting over there, then? ;)

Mapping isn't what is important for judging, though important for DMing. It'd be a good idea to try to DM first (short games can get you there).

LEB... I'm so off this week... I don't even play over in L4E...

Maybe I'll put together some short adventure proposals and pick one I like.

Almost all of my non-living PbP have died, leaving me a good amount of time to devote to Judging/DMing in the near future.

Welcome to the club Cabana! I am embracing Living PBP wholeheartedly this year/last year as all my other pbp attempts floundered.

And I got the ECG right here. I see: Carver, Clawfoot, Dragonhawk, Fastieth, Glidewing, Magebred Destrier, Valenar Riding Horse on page 42 fyi.

I can make a pretty good guess as to what the latter two are, but what sorts of animals are the rest? Google Image Search brings me to the conclusion that they are "behemoths". Is this the case?

Actually, all but the Dragonhawk are likely "drakes" than "behemoths" (being the smaller dinos); the Dragonhawk is a large eagle like-critter from Aundair.

And, uk, for getting the ECG first! Guess its karma for me getting the EPG four days early.

Gotcha, thanks.

I guess technically, I should amend my previous post. Doing a google search for "clawfoot" brought up a lot of pictures of bathtubs. Which, by the way, would be an awesome mount. Very Nightmare Before Christmas-esque.

Edit: Hah, what I meant to ask is what sort of dinosaur the carver is.
