Probably the same reason they included the Codri-Ju. Granted, I'm no scholar on the Legacy Era, so I don't know if representatives of either race have shown up in the comics. Well, as it turns out, there was a Klatooninian in the Legacy comics. And a member of Rogue Squadron no less.The most notable appearance of a Klatoonian is in Return of the Jedi.
They've sworn they won't publish a species book. I'm not sure I believe them. Sometimes I regret letting go of the Ultimate Alien Anthology... even with its errors, it was a rich vein to dig in.
