Legal abusive combo?

Number47

First Post
If I cast Divine Power, I gain a Base Attack Bonus of a fighter of my level. If I then cast Tenser's Transformation, I gain +1 Base Attack Bonus per two caster levels. This in addition to the other bonuses granted (the Str increase doesn't stack, though).

These seem to be unnamed bonuses that stack, allowing for a super-fighter (1 round per level only, though).

Is there something I'm missing?

It takes an 11th level wizard/7th level cleric to do that. For an 18th level character who must only fight and not cast spells, it might be worth it....

Bonus from Tensers: +5
Bonus from Divine Power: Bab = +18
18 Str = +4

So a +27 on attacks for an 18th level character, before counting equipment or + to hit feats. Pretty neat, but you have to be really high level to pull it off, so I don't have much of a problem with it.

One possible mistake (don't have my books), but I would think the Bonus for Divine Might would be not equal to the Character level, but the Cleric caster level.

In any case a +27 attack bonus for an 18th lvl character isn't anything to write home about. Especially given the limited overlap of the spells.

It's a great idea for some sort of smackdown though.

It's the total character level.

(BTW, if you don't have your books with you, check the SRD. :))

All it takes is a wizard of level 13 and limited wish. Or a bard of even lower level and scrolls.

Remember that this is only Base Attack Bonus. Everything else is still added in! I was thinking high dex, weapon focus, rapid shot, etc.

what you do is be a single class rogue with a good Use Magic Device and some scrolls... (or a someone else with a Ring or Ioun Stone of Spell Storing)

then you cast Divine Power, Divine Favor, and Divine Agility, and Teners's Transformation. make sure you got a haste up & dont get dispelled or dominated (throw in a Mind Blank to fix that last thing)!

with two weapon fighting & blinking & expert tactician you can get in a lot of attacks. i recommend this combo if you have MAJOR prep time or are hiding in a corner somewhere and cant figure out what to do... ;)
