Legal electronic copy of ToH OGC?

I would really like to own a legal electronic copy of tome of horrors. I own over 100 pdfs and buy a lot from rpgnow.com and a few from white wolf's web site.

Tome of Horrors is available at www.dtrpg.com as a DRM pdf you can license limited use of. Unfortunately I won't be getting it there because of the DRM.

I (of course) have access to the great free creature catalogue which has many of the same creatures and many of them updated to 3.5 but those are scattered into individual entries and the names and descriptions are not OGC as they are in ToH.

Similarly my scanning and OCR skills are nonexistant so it is currently data entry typing for stuff I want electronically that I only have in print (such as my six other SSS print monster books).

If ToH was available at the WW site as a pdf for sale (like the malhavok ones I have bought) or at rpgnow.com I would buy it and be happy with the PDF functionality of bookmarks and have the art for copying in our e-mail games.

But since that is not the current case has anyone copied the OGC parts of TOH (Everything except the art) into an rtf or word document? I would really like to get legal access to an electronic copy of these creature stats all in one easy document.

To be clear, I am not asking how to crack DRM. I am not asking where to get an illegal copyright infringing scanned copy of the book. Please do not bring up such issues as they will get the thread closed. I am only asking if anybody has copied the ogc into one document as can be done legally.

I can get electronic pictures from the original older edition books I own as ESDs, I just would like stats I could copy and paste from and text I can search in one big document instead of 400 individual ones.

Thanks.

Not quite addressing your question, but Necromancer have indicated that they may eventually release ToH updated to 3.5 as a PDF-only release, IIRC. Of course, such a product would most likely be released via DTRPG, though anything's possible.

True, in the thread in the publishers forum they've discussed this a bit and I've directly asked them to put out a non-DRM copy, but I think it is unlikely to be anything other than DTRPG DRM, even if it is a no art free file.

Just curious, what is the curent DRM on ToH?
I'm not exactly sure what you're asking but...

ToH just was made available for sale through DriveThru RPG as a PDF. It uses Adobe's DRM to prevent illegal copying. That's all.

Check out the 2nd Edition Return to the Tomb of Horrors at SVGames. $4.99 PDF, includes a facsimile of the original ToH, as well as the "Return to" adventure, and I don't see anything anywhere saying its DRM.

Tome of Horrors, the OGC Monster Collection by Necromancer Games that converts about 300 older edition monsters to 3.0.

Not the same thing as the 1e module Tomb of Horrors that is included in the 2e Return to the Tomb of Horrors.

Ah, I see. I am a fool.

However, that makes things tougher. Very few publishers would want to basically recreate another publisher's work for little or no financial gain. I doubt that you will find what you are seeking.
