Not sure how I feel about the show, it is okay, good cast but just something is not hitting. Needs more nudity.

Why do they make the underworld and death bad? Whatever happened to the good places people go when they die?

There are some real-world mythologies that way. The Greco-Roman underworld was similar, but their underworld was more of a "boring" hell then a "suffering" hell. I think there are some Mesopotamian mythologies like this. Some cultures just think there's nothing good at all about dying.

Not too bad, nasty twist at the end too.

Kara got the best scenes in this episode with the smug thief.

I'm enjoying this season much more than last. The plot feels richer, with many ways for things to come together by the end of the season. There were multiple surprises in this episode, and surprises are not something I've ever associated with the show, so that's nice.

I'd put off watching the episode for a bit because my feeling about the show has been, "meh, better than nothing," but this ep was much better than that. Looking forward to a superior future.

I have a feeling they have a larger budget this year than last year.

And while I did like the episode, I've watched too many Mythbuster episodes to believe that pitch in clay jars could explode in a 50-foot fireball like that. :)

That actually kinda sums up my feelings for the show. I like it, but I also like to poke fun at some of the outrageous things it does (like the main character leaping off of a building at a creature that was already cornered by ten trained soldiers). It's more like good-natured ribbing than a true critic's comments.

I just watched my first ever episode of this show- I only heard of it a couple of weeks ago- and I have to say its not bad.

Its fast paced, and while like other S&S TV series, the combats are virtually bloodless, they look more realistic, overall.

I'll have to give it a few more episodes.

Downside is they do that weird slow-motion crap a lot which is kind of annoying. But otherwise it's not a bad show. The overall storyline isn't all that original or anything, but the producers do it with style.

I also note that this season, Richard's starting to grow a beard.
