Legendary Weapon creation rules?

I really like the Legendary Weapons and scion classes from Unearthed Arcana (and presumably, more or less identically in the Game Mechanics ____ of the Ages books) but there's no rules or guidelines for creating your own weapons. Do the Game Mechanics' books cover this, or is there another source out there with help? I think I like this system better than the Weapons of Legacy system, but obviously I want to do more than just use the four examples in UA. ;)

I don't believe there was any real mention but I do think it depends on how you "theme" the weapon ie which Scion type you think works best with that particular thing.
 

One of my DMs is a huge fan of Unearthed Arcana and has been using some of the things from it. My Paladin (of Thor) recovered a family relic (a greathammer called Thunder's Call) and has been taking levels of Scion in it. We based it off of the Faith Scion, with a few modifications to make it more Thor-like.

(a greathammer, BTW, is the hammer equivalent of a bastard sword, d12 damage, 20/x2 critical, and very very heavy)
