Legends of. . .

I recently picked up a used copy of Legends of the Samurai by RPG Objects and, despite several cut and paste errors, was smitten with the rules (specifically those for both magic and honor). I'm thinking about using them in a free setting that I've been working on (Spokelse Verden). The rules in question seem very portable (indeed, the rules for point-based magic came from Legends of Excalibur) so, out of curiosity, have you used them in other games or with other products?

Heya jd... thanks for the kind words. Glad you liked the book!

Honestly, it's the best Asian-themed d20 product that I've seen (it easily trumps both OA and Rokugan d20). The only such product that really screamed "Play me, you fool!" when I saw it on the shelf and, likewise, the only such product that seems to be rooted more in history than Hollywood. Great stuff!

That said, I'd love to see some supplementary PDFs detailing individual creatures. Something like The Le's offerings, I guess. That kind of thing would come in right handy :)
